Lunchboxes

PlanetBox Rover

PlanetBox Rover

PlanetBox Rover

The PlanetBox is an investment. It's pricey, but it lasts for years and years (ours are still in perfect condition after 5+ years!). It's stainless steel, easy to clean, easy to pack and easy to open. There are containers that fit inside so you can pack liquids and things like hummus or yogurt and they won't leak. We have all three sizes, but the Rover is the one we use most often. Below you'll also see the Launch and the Shuttle.

Lunchbots Cinco

LUNCHBOTS CINCO

This lunchbox is a big winner around here. It’s easy to pack, easy to open and easy to clean. The sections are not leakproof, so I like to line them with parchment or wax paper to prevent food from leaking.

Planetbox Launch

Planetbox Launch

PlanetBox Launch

This is a GIANT lunchbox. It's got room for a ton of food, which is great for adults or for those days when your kids seem to be a bottomless pit (hello, growth spurt!) Also perfect for those days when kids need an extra snack for after school or camp and you only want to use one container.

PlanetBox Shuttle

PlanetBox Shuttle

Planetbox Shuttle

Don't let the small size deceive you. The PlanetBox Shuttle fits a ton of food, but it's compact with just two compartments, so it fits into a wide variety of lunch bags. It's stainless steel, easy to pack and clean and my tween loves it.

The Monbento is a two layered, rectangular plastic box. Fits a ton. Easy to clean. The favorite of my oldest child.

Yumbox Original

Yumbox original

The original Yumbox was the first bento style box that I ever purchased. Easy to use, easy to pack, easy for little hands to open, it's no wonder that Yumbox has been so successful. This model is perfect for kids who like a little of this and a little of that for lunch.

Yumbox Panino

The Yumbox Panino has three main compartments plus a small one that we typically use for a snack. Great for packing things like sandwiches, or for lots of pieces of avocado sushi, like you see here!

Sandwich and cookie cutters

I don't use sandwich and cookie cutters very often in my lunchboxes, but when I do, these are the ones that I prefer. I like them because they're simple and easy to use for small hands, when my kids get involved.

ice packs

Ice Packs

The best way to keep foods safe for school is to pack lunch bags with ice packs. It also helps with keeping certain foods from browning. I like the slim design on these because they fit with most lunchbox/bag combinations in my house.
