Packing Favorites for School Lunches

There's no shortage of suggestions out there for packing healthy lunches for the kiddos, but that doesn't make the task any easier. My kids often fall back on their favorites when choosing foods for their school lunch and below you'll see some of the foods they love to pick over and over.

You'll see that some seem like big lunches and some seem rather petite... that's just how it goes around here; some days are hungrier than others. In general, they like to choose a protein, at least one fruit, sometimes a vegetable and a usually also a snack. I make the effort to present the food in an appealing way, but look closely and you'll see that there's nothing particularly fancy going on in these lunches, and that's exactly how I like it.
